Pitched ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal data when you use our website and waitlist service.
Pitched is operated from Ireland and complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Acts 2018.

2. What Data We Collect
When you join our waitlist, we collect:
- Email address — to notify you when Pitched launches and send occasional updates
- User type — whether you signed up as a homeowner or tradesperson, to tailor our communications
- Signup date — when you joined the waitlist
We do not collect any other personal information through the waitlist.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your email address to:
- Notify you when Pitched launches in Ireland
- Send occasional updates about our progress (no more than once per month before launch)
- Provide early access or special offers to waitlist members
We will not use your email for any other purpose without your explicit consent.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data based on your consent, which you provide when you submit your email address to join the waitlist. You can withdraw this consent at any time by unsubscribing (see Section 7).
5. Data Sharing and Processors
We use the following third-party service to store and process waitlist data:
- Supabase (database hosting) — Supabase Inc., headquartered in the USA, with data processing subject to Standard Contractual Clauses for GDPR compliance
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Data Retention
We retain your email address until:
- You unsubscribe from our waitlist, or
- Pitched launches and you create an account (at which point your data becomes part of your account), or
- 24 months have passed since signup without any engagement, at which point we will delete your data

Under GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
- Right to erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Right to restrict processing — request that we limit how we use your data
- Right to data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Right to withdraw consent — unsubscribe at any time

To unsubscribe from our waitlist emails, click the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or email us directly.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes encrypted data transmission (HTTPS) and secure database storage.
9. Cookies
Our waitlist website uses only essential cookies required for the website to function. We do not use any tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. No cookie consent is required for essential cookies under GDPR.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify waitlist members by email. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when the policy was last revised.
